Propeller Noise Optimisation

Swedish drone manufacturer Bitcraze, in collaboration with KTH University, RMIT University, RISE and Gemfan aim to design a quiet and efficient drone propeller than can be plastic injection moulded.

The team will use a machine learning algorithm to balance torque, thrust and RPM. By leveraging RISE and Gemfan's manufacturing expertise in combination with RMIT’s proven and proprietary methodology, Bitcraze aims to set up a supply of high quality, competitively priced propellers.

This project is funded by Vinnova, a Swedish government agency that administers state funding for research and development. Full project description.
